Joyner 800i (4 speed box)

The new 2015 Joyner 800i (4 speed) is the latest buggy from Joyner. It offers more power than the 650, with more 'cc' and engine management system (thus fuel injected). They have kept the Origional Howie Joyner look, keeping the buggy smaller than the oversized 1100cc monster.

We prefer the 4 speed version as the roll cage is the same height as the old 650 and keeps the same looks. (The 5 speed Joyner 800i is more squat with a lower roll cage NOT good for tall people). The 4 speed is better off road as the gear ratios are lower giving the buggy more grunt.

The buggy features the newely designed Joyner 3 cylinder 12 valve engine with Duel Overhead Camshafts and siemens VDO injection. This model has a hydraulic clutch incorporating the 4 speed gearbox providing this buggy with massive amounts of low end torque and power.

Joyner have released 2 versions of this buggy, and we prefer the 4 speed as it better for off road than the 5 speed which we feel is too higher geared. All the buggies are supplied with road legal car type tyres, but off road tyres are also available (which are also road legal).

The new sports suspension with coil springs lowers the buggy by 70mm, and is combined with a 60mm upgraded track with which has been tailored to the Joyner 800i. Together with the best passenger car tires sitting on 14" alloy rims, makes for an awesome driving experience on winding roads.

The new aluminum fuel tank with external fuel pump sits between LED taillights & turnsignals which gives a very aesthitically pleasing look from the rear.

Perfectly happy on or off road, this buggy is the most established buggy in its class and is sold in huge volumes all over the world.

Following the huge success of the Joyner Howie, we have worked closely the manufacturer (via Storm) to produce an even higher specification model designed solely for use here in the UK.

Supplied with a user manual covering all aspects from pre ride safety checks through to detailed service and repair instructions and EC 'Certificate Of Conformity' (COC). Fully approved for road legal use in any EEC country – compliant with directive 97/24/EC

Important information for your peace of mind:
The appropriate safety clothing should be worn by the driver and passenger at all times. As with all buggies and go karts this product requires regular service and maintenance to include a PRI (Pre-Ride Inspection) and general check over every time between use. This product is fitted with brush guards designed to withstand light to medium impact.
