Blitz KR2 - Factory Built

Blitzworld are now building Blitzs KR2 for 2006 to order for off road use. The KR2 is designed for track days and for corporate hire due to the engine can be eaisly removed and repaired or replaced if required on an event rather than loosing the whole car.

The Blitz KR2 boasts a high performance buggy for OFF road
use and the buggy is well suited to grass track racing due to the flexibility of suspension and handling due to a mid mounted engine.

A second engine can be taken to a meeting on a spare subframe that bolts into the back of the Blitz frame. This allows for an easy engine change and maintenance of the buggy. The rear suspension design is fully adjustable, and similar to a competition racing car design to give maximum stability of the buggy at high speed on and off the road.

The Blitz KR2 weights about 250 kgs and boasts a very powerful 1.4cc 16v Rover GTi engine with 104 bhp as standard, (equivalent to 416bhp per ton), or the Rover 75 engine 1.8cc 16v @ 140 bhp (offering 560bhp per ton), and placed in the rear of the Blitz chassis makes this buggy one of the fastest single seater mid engine kit based buggies on the market today.

Due to the power to weight ratio engine modifications are not required, as this vehicle will far exceed the national speed limit without hesitation. The 0-60 mph is on a par with Bike performance.
